Reaching, equipping, empowering and releasing global servant leaders, one university student at a time.Philosophy of MinistryFocusing on University ministry: We would like to see established from every local church in Argentina a ministry towards university students, where each church group would be one that would attract non-believers, evangelize them, disciple them and send them out into the world as disciples of Christ.
We include the concept of “community” in all of these because of the high priority placed on coming together. Our hope is to reach University students with this framework of ministry. We strive to help students who are interested in Christ find authentic faith as well as try to help Christian students live with love and integrity while on campus. We believe if students know Christ and take that knowledge into the marketplace after they graduate we can transform the world. We realize that this time in their life is critical and we want to tell them about the grace, hope, power and direction found in the Jesus Christ. The manner that we hope to accomplish this is in building a community of believers within the local church that extends out towards the campus. Where instruction (teaching) takes place. Where there can be a safe place to express ones needs, concerns and praises (fellowship). This is not only a place for believers, but also a place for those interested in learning more about God. It will also include times of prayer for corporate and individual needs. Not only will there be times for corporate body ministry but times if intense one on one discipleship, to train and equip them to serve God. In the course of time to establish an Internship program to train and equip individuals to contextualize the gospel and go throughout the country and nations to plant other campus ministries. Why Campus MinistryStudents are the most inquiring segment of our society. They will take the time to research issues and spend years developing themselves to be productive and effective in the marketplace. They will be tomorrow's leaders, therefore this group of individuals have specific needs. As has been seen in the past, the universities have played key roles in religious revivals and awakenings, at least in the United States. Students have led the way in the greatest expansions of world evangelism. It is no wonder then that Satan has targeted the campus to stifle the would be leaders of tomorrow's generation. Since the campus is a homogenous in age and the place in life it offers a number of opportunities for witness, unavailable to churches. Students active in the campus ministry will therefore not only be equipped to minister to their fellow peers, but be equipped to serve in their local churches. The sad statement about college students in the US is that 2/3 of all students are unchurched. We can only wonder what the ratio is of unchurched college students in Latin America? |
Our Calling:Jesus calls all believers to seek and save the
lost (Luke 19:10) to reconcile men and women to God (Colossians 1:19 -20), and
to glorify the Father (John 17:4). Our task is to follow in His footsteps
and prepare others in the country of
It has been said:"The problem here is for the church to realize that no greater service can it render both itself and the cause of the gospel, with which it is entrusted, than to try to recapture the universities for Christ on whom they were all originally founded. One of the best way of treating the macrocosm is through the handle of the universities in which millions of youths destined to positions of leadership spend, in rigorous training, between four and ten years of the most formative period of their lives. More potently than by any other means change the university and you change the world." Dr. Charles Malik, former president of the United Nations Our Beliefs:
