The New Normal
The COVID-19 changed all of our world and our agenda. We had so many training events scheduled for this year and a major project in the city of Obera, the Province of Misiones (in the northern part of Argentina).
So since we cannot be there in person we are there virtually — training and equipping from a distance.

Equipping University students
Virginia and I taught a 2 week course on Worldview looking at the 6 major worldviews in the world and how they answer life’s basic questions.
In conjunction with the AG Department of Evangelism we offered two courses on “What is the Gospel?” and “How to evangelize on the university.”

The Gospel cannot be contained!
Losses and opportunities. We can see so many who have lost someone or something. We mourn with them. Yet, there are also opportunities like never before in this new normal.
As a Sunday School Director, Virginia has 77 team coordinators in 18 provinces of Argentina. During this COVID-19 Pandemic, Virginia has been having zoom counseling meetings with them. The topic that she presented was “Who is taking care of the caregivers?” this was a starting point in order to have a heart-to-heart conversation with her team.
Many of them expressed the importance of such a service to them and pastors. Therefore at the request of the Regional Presbyter in the AG, she prepared a webinar that was used by that region for their pastoral care. Different churches have also used it for their church leadership training.
Gilbert lead a group of 84+ students through a 40 day Bible engagement project in reading the whole New Testament in community. With daily messages with video, audio and text to read and engage in the NT. Above is a small sample of the students who participated.

Our bi-weekly Spanish Podcast on ending human trafficking, “Terminando con la Trata” is going on three years! Thankful that we can provide resources to not only Argentina but our program is heard in over 40 countries, some of them radio’s that rebroadcast our episodes. https://terminandoconlatrata.org
The Gospel message cannot be contained, though we are not in person equipping and training we are declaring the Good news and it is having an impact. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your partnership.
